Bodgaun Primary Hospital is managed and operated by Jay Nepal NGO, an Italo-Nepalese humanitarian organization committed to strengthening healthcare services in rural Nepal. Established in 2018, the centre provides essential primary healthcare, emergency support, and community health services to the people of Indrawati Rural Municipality and surrounding areas of Sindhupalchowk. Through collaboration with international medical partners, the centre is continuously working to improve healthcare quality and provide meaningful opportunities for medical professionals who want to serve communities where healthcare access is limited.
🎯 Minimum Requirements
PCL in Health Assistant (HA) from a CTEVT-affiliated institution Valid NHPC License to practice in Nepal Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a health post, primary health centre, or hospital English language proficiency for communication and reporting Basic computer skills for record keeping and documentation
📌 Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive primary care, including pre-operative assessments, basic surgeries, and post-operative follow-up in a non-ICU rural setup Perform essential procedures, including: Collaborate with the doctors, paramedical team, anesthetist and lab technicians for integrated patient care; mentor junior staff and contribute to team development Maintain accurate records, manage inventory for clinical and surgical supplies, and ensure compliance with IPC protocols Participate in community outreach, health camps, home visits for follow-up, and HMIS data entry Engage in quality improvement initiatives, team meetings, and international case discussions
🏢 Working Arrangements
OPD and OT hours: 09:00 – 17:00, with scheduling flexibility for procedures Lead clinical and surgical services in Outpatient Department (OPD), Operating Theatre (OT), and emergency response On-call roster for 24/7 emergencies, supported by paramedic team Adherence to NMC ethical guidelines, hospital SOPs, and Nepal's health sector standards (e.g., infection prevention and control - IPC)
